The festivities commence with an energetic opening celebration headlined by various artists and the festival’s ambassador, Hypasounds, highlighting the island’s commitment to educational reform through the Alfred Pragnell Memorial Talks. Visitors can explore Holetown’s historical significance via bus tours, enjoy the grandeur of a floodlit tattoo with the Barbados Police Service, and indulge in the melodies of local musicians alongside a mixologist competition. 

The zenith of the festival is the street fair on February 17th, replete with a classic car and street parade show, school performances, and a soca music fest at the Holetown Monument, capturing the essence of Barbadian culture. The festival will end on February 18th with various family-friendly activities, including a service, a beach wrestling showcase for kids, and a commemorative 5K walk and run.
